Our Story
Founder and CEO Rae Rose struggled with acne issues her whole life searching for the cure in endless products found at local convenience stores. Nothing seemed to work for all of her skincare concerns including hyperpigmentation, constant breakouts, and sensitive skin. During her work with a natural hairstylist, Rose learned about the healing effects of essential oils. From that point forward, Rose began using only essential oils and natural derivatives in her skincare routine, noticing the effects immediately. Within 3 months her skin began to clear up, she experienced few to zero breakouts, old acne scars were clearing up, and overall people began to notice her skin was glowing. Rose decided she had to share this new beauty secret to her friends and family, and thus CnvsBrnd was born.
Vision
CNVS is the simple idea of a woman of color, whose felt limited in the choices available in the mass market and wanted to share her newfound beauty secrets to the world. It's about affordable yet sustainable care for us "regular people". Those of us who don't have hundreds of dollars to spend at the dermatologist but desire clean and eco conscious options. It's easy to preach "wear less makeup" as a celebrity or influencer who has been afforded every avenue possible to clear skin. It's much harder as a woman with little resources to create this on her own. Thats what CNVS is about, the teamwork of the producer and the consumer to commit to clean skin and clean prodcution.
